Alison Smith is our keynote speaker. She is an energetic and enthusiastic speaker and leaves delegates challenged and inspired to understand their own truth and authenticity and to start taking action on the things they feel passionate about.

In addition to using her own stories to inspire others Alison also specialises in the use of metaphor. This technique is widely accepted as being very effective in getting around the unconscious obstacles individuals put up to change. Additionally unlike many speeches metaphorical ones are remembered for some time - some times years - if our experience is anything to go by.

We’re especially proud of the use of the Christmas tree as a metaphor to demonstrate the key components when developing a team. Other recent metaphors have involved holidays, washing, and landscapes.
